How the Extension Works
Velvet Drop operates entirely locally within your browser.
It scans the web pages you visit solely to identify specific HTML elements
(<input type="file">).
It modifies the visual appearance of these elements locally on your device to enable drag-and-drop and
paste functionality.
Any files you drag or paste are passed directly to the website you are visiting, just as if you had used
the standard file picker. We do not see, copy, or upload your files to our own servers.
Permissions
The extension requires permission to access data on all websites (<all_urls>) solely to
perform the visual modifications described above on any page you might visit. This access is not used to
collect data.
